Accommodation Refund Terms & Conditions

Please make yourself familiar with our cancellation policy when you book your doggy/s for accommodation stay over at Doggy Haven Guesthouse and Daycare.


High Season

When you book your doggy/s in during high season like school holidays, long weekends, December over New Year and you need to cancel, you will unfortunately forfeit your full deposit as it is our busiest times. We need to secure your doggy/s space and if we are fully booked and reached our full capacity during the high season, we won't be able to assist other clients as we are not able to accommodate their doggy/s. Therefore, if you cancel on us during these times, and you have already paid your doggy/s deposit, we are in loss of business as we won't be able to replace your doggy/s space with another doggy/s.

During high season over December and New Year we require a deposit of the total amount immediately to secure your doggy/s space and by the end of November we require the balance to prevent any cancellation, disappointment and loss of business.


Low Season

When you book your doggy/s in during low season our policy is structured around how far in advance you cancel.

  • Longer notice of 3 months in advance: Incur a small admin fee of R50.
  • Shorter notice of 1 month in advance: Incur a 50% returning of deposit plus R50 admin fee.
  • Shorter notice of a week and less in advance: Incur a 100% loss of deposit.

Your doggy/s booking accommodation can be rescheduled to a later date, if need be, depending on availability within the period of 3 – 6 months, no later.


In General

We usually ask a 50% deposit of the total amount immediately, with proof of payment, to secure your doggy/s stay with us and the balance to be paid before picking up your dog/s with proof of payment made.
