Doggy Haven Guesthouse & Daycare welcomes you with open paws:

Thank you for choosing Doggy Haven Guesthouse & Daycare. Our aim is to care and love! We believe all dogs must be looked after and treated well, the same as in their own house and environment and especially when you can't be there. We look after your dog/s the way you do. They sleep inside the house with us at night.

This is no kennel nor hotel! A way cozier, friendlier and warmer atmosphere. We do have a big yard where dogs can roam, explore, and play outside during the day.

We only specialize in small to medium dogs. We do socialization and basic command training whilst doggies are in our daycare. We do long term stay as well.

Requirements:

• We can only accommodate dog/s that are neutered or spayed
• Dog/s must be over 6 months old
• Dogs would also need to be proper potty house trained to make it easier for us
• All dogs to be taken in, would need to have all their vaccines and deworming up to date and proof of veterinary book is required

Daily Care:

Treats are given daily according to your dog/s diet. We do give our guest dogs and day care dogs treats, apples and carrots at lunch time for a snack.

What to Bring:

Please mark all items clearly with your dog/s name and drop them off with a harness and leash, it makes our work just so much easier.

Payment & Booking:

We require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking in our calendar and to keep your doggie's space. Balance to be paid prior to pick up with proof of payment sent.

No pickup times will be allowed to be change in a short notice of time as we also need to do our daily planning and are sometimes very busy. However, it will only be allowed in an emergency.

Please be on your scheduled drop off and pick up times. It is not fair on us to wait for you if you are running behind or before schedule. This is also to respect our time.

Additional Services:

• Medication: All prescribed medication will be given as requested at no extra charge.
• Daily Updates: We will send you a WhatsApp daily with photos and videos to give you updates on how it is going with your dog/s.
• Veterinary Care: We have access to a vet 24/7, so if your dog/s gets ill while you are away, we will take care of them.
• Tailored Care: If your dog/s has particular needs, we can tailor make his/her stay to suit these requirements.

Please make yourself familiar of our cancellation policy when you book your doggy/s for accommodation stay over at Doggy Haven Guesthouse and Daycare.

High Season:

When you book your doggy/s in during high season like school holidays, long weekends, December over New Year and you need to cancel, you will unfortunately forfeit your full deposit as it is our busiest times. We need to secure your doggy/s space and if we are fully booked and reached our full capacity during the high season, we won't be able to assist other clients as we are not able to accommodate their doggy/s. Therefore, if you cancel on us during these times, and you have already paid your doggy/s deposit, we are in loss of business as we won't be able to replace your doggy/s space with another doggy/s.

During high season over December and New Year we require a deposit of the total amount immediately to secure your doggy/s space and by the end of November we require the balance to prevent any cancellation, disappointment and loss of business.

Low Season:

When you book your doggy/s in during low season our policy is structured around how far in advance you cancel.

• Longer notice of 3 months in advance: Incur a small admin fee of R50.
• Shorter notice of 1 month in advance: Incur a 50% returning of deposit plus R50 admin fee.
• Shorter notice of a week and less in advance: Incur a 100% loss of deposit.

Your doggy/s booking accommodation can be rescheduled to a later date, if need be, depending on availability within the period of 3 – 6 months, no later.

In General:

We usually ask a 50% deposit of the total amount immediately, with proof of payment, to secure your doggy/s stay with us and the balance to be paid before picking up your dog/s with proof of payment made.

Day Care (Same Day Service)

Hourly Rate	R10.00/hour per dog
Full Day (10+ hours)	R100.00/day per dog

For same-day bookings. If hours ≤ 10 hours, hourly rate applies. If hours > 10 hours, full day rate applies.

Accommodation (Multi-Day Service)

Rates are based on hours per day (dropoff to pickup time). Each day is evaluated independently.

* All pricing includes feeding, sleeping, and basic care. Multi-day bookings are charged per calendar day.
